What subjects should I study in Year 11 & 12?
To assist you in your tertiary design studies, it is recommended that you study English, Maths, Design & Technology, Visual Arts, Textiles & Design during Years 11 and 12.
What are the Bachelor of Design entry requirements?
Whitehouse entry requirements are based on both creative potential and academic performance. Applicants to the Bachelor of Design must have completed their secondary studies and achieve a minimum UAI/Enter of 65.

Students studying Fashion Design will gain a thorough knowledge of the broad range of professional skills required of a fashion designer whilst developing their capacity to apply creative and innovative design concepts. You will cover subjects such as

What are my career options after studying the Bachelor of Design?
Graduates of the Bachelor of Design, Fashion Design are fully equipped with the practical skills and professional knowledge to begin work as Fashion Designers. Other career paths include pattern makers, textiles design, fashion journalism, illustration and merchandising. Graduates from the Bachelor of Design are also able to further their studies at Masters and Doctoral levels, both in Australia and overseas.
