Whitehouse 2nd year Fashion Design students Mel Smith (featured image), Amy Badikovich, Jess Green and Helen Nguyen competed against eight others representing RMIT, Melbourne and MSIT, Brisbane in the Australian finals of the Triumph Inspiration Award at the Ivy Lounge earlier this year.

Our congratulations go to each of the contestants, with first place being taken by Katinka Poole of RMIT with her representation of the Sydney Harbour skyline.

Winning entries from 28 countries including Australia were then judged in Milan recently by a panel including guest judge Hillary Swank, with Katinka’s entry coming runner up.
